A property<\/a> in Kilkenny<\/a> is set to feature as a finalist on the upcoming episode of Home of the Year airing\u00a0on RT\u00c9 One on\u00a0Tuesday, March 31.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The news comes not long after two other Kilkenny homeowners (Trish Duffe<\/a> and Sean Hickey<\/a>) featured on The Great House Revival – another popular national series.<\/p>\n

Vivienne and Enda live in County Kilkenny with their two daughters and dog and purchased the site for their new build in 2022.<\/p>\n

Over the next few years, Enda and Vivienne worked together to create their forever home, with Enda centring on the exterior while Vivienne focused on the interiors.<\/p>\n

The result is a stunning modern dormer bungalow finished with a white render.<\/p>\n

The couple favour a transitional style which mixes classic shapes, clean lines, neutral palettes and varied textures.<\/p>\n

The family love that they have created a space to entertain and bring all their friends and loved ones together.<\/p>\n

HOME OF THE YEAR SERIES 12<\/p>\n

Series 12 of\u00a0Home of the Year\u00a0was completed before judge Hugh Wallace\u2019s death.<\/p>\n

Hugh had been a judge on the programme since its inception and will be remembered for his warmth and humour, and for consistently capturing the hearts of viewers.<\/p>\n

From reimagined semi-detached houses to restored period homes to architectural new builds, the series promises to inspire viewers with a diverse range of design styles and creativity from across the country.<\/p>\n

Award-winning architect Amanda Bone of DTA Architects returns for her sixth series as a judge, and award-winning interior consultant Siobh\u00e1n Lam, founder of April and the Bear, for her second.<\/p>\n

HOW IT WORKS<\/p>\n

Each week, the judges will visit three exceptional homes and score them out of 10 based on individuality, functionality, and clever design.<\/p>\n

The home with the highest combined score in each episode will advance to the grand final in April, where one lucky homeowner will be crowned the winner of the series.<\/p>\n

Home of the Year airs Tuesdays at 7pm on RT\u00c9 One & RT\u00c9 Player.<\/p>\n
