The dedication\u2019s omission quickly led to raised eyebrows, due to Keough and Priscilla\u2019s rift that occurred shortly after Lisa Marie Presley\u2019s death in January 2023.<\/p>\n
As Globe previously reported<\/a>, Priscilla\u2019s former business associates \u2014 Brigitte Kruse and Kevin Fialko \u2014 submitted a typed letter they claim Keough sent to her grandmother as part of an amended complaint in their $50 million lawsuit against her<\/a>.<\/p>\n Mega Agency<\/p>\n \u201cUnfortunately Nona as you are taking me to court I am being forced to defend my mother\u2019s wishes legally and publicly which would not have been my choice,\u201d the letter Kruse and Fialko claim was written by Keough read. \u201cIt is really hurtful that after years of me trying to resolve your and my mother\u2019s broken relationship and restore our family, you are taking me, of all the people to court.\u201d<\/p>\n Priscilla and Keough eventually settled the lawsuit, with Priscilla getting a $1 million lump sum, as well as $100,000 a year to be a special advisor to Keough.<\/p>\n Priscilla\u2019s lawyer, Martin D.
