The sports hall at Glenart College in Arklow was abuzz as the school community came together for its annual Transition Year Easter Fair, raising a total of \u20ac1,260 for Enable Ireland.<\/p>\n

Now in its fourth year, the event has become a key part of the school calendar, with TY students organising a wide range of stalls and activities designed to engage the wider community while supporting a chosen charity.<\/p>\n

From face painting and bakery stalls to a \u2018guess the mini egg\u2019 competition and a \u2018pet the bunny\u2019 attraction, the fair offered something for all ages. Local primary schools were invited along for the day, joined by parents and guardians, as well as local TD Brian Brennan and representatives from the charity.<\/p>\n

Held as part of Glenart College\u2019s Ethos Week, the fair reflected the ETB core value of community, with a strong emphasis on giving back. Donations raised on the day went directly to Enable Ireland.<\/p>\n

The Easter Fair served as the centrepiece for the week\u2019s focus on community, reinforcing the importance of supporting others at a local level.<\/p>\n

\u201cA huge thanks to all the Easter Fair team, led by Ms Devitt and Ms Fleming, for all their collective efforts in organising another fantastic event. It was a really terrific way to end the term on a real high,\u201d a school spokesperson said.<\/p>\n
