Part of one side of O\u2019Connell Street, from Supermac\u2019s down to the quays is also cordoned off. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph paywall \">It is understood the crash involved an escooter and a truck. A A Garda forensic team is currently at the scene.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph paywall \">Road users have been asked to avoid the area due to delays, while Luas red line  services are currently not operating between Smithfield and The Point.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph paywall \">The incident, which was attended by ambulances, the fire brigade and the An Garda S\u00edoch\u00e1na, occurred just off O\u2019Connell Street on the corner of Middle Abbey Street, outside Supermac\u2019s. The area has been cordoned off.
