Lotto players in Athlone have been urged to check their tickets after a second player in the town scooped a massive \u20ac1 million prize in one week.<\/p>\n
The National Lottery\u2019s latest millionaire purchased their winning Quick Pick ticket on the day of the draw, March 30, from Supervalu, Unit 3\/4 Monksland Retail Centre in Athlone, Co Westmeath<\/a>. The Daily Million numbers for Monday\u2019s 9pm draw were: 2, 3, 5, 8, 12, 31 and the Bonus was 18.<\/p>\n SuperValu Store Manager, Tim Dolan, was delighted to receive the phone call to confirm that his store sold the winning Daily Million ticket. “We can\u2019t believe it \u2013 Athlone has had two big wins in the space of a week and we\u2019re delighted to be part of the excitement.<\/p>\n “There\u2019s a great sense of pride knowing this incredible prize was won right here in our store. We\u2019ve been proudly serving the community here in Monksland for 19 years, supporting locals across Roscommon<\/a> and Westmeath, and we\u2019re hopeful this marks the beginning of many more big wins to come. Our staff and customers are absolutely thrilled, and we wish the winner every happiness as they enjoy their windfall!”<\/p>\n National Lottery spokesperson, Emma Monaghan, shared the following advice: “We\u2019re still waiting to hear from our latest Daily Million winner who bought their ticket in SuperValu Monksland, Athlone on Monday, 30 March.<\/p>\n “We\u2019re urging all our players to check their tickets very carefully, and if you\u2019re holding that winning ticket, sign the back of it, keep it safe, and contact the National Lottery Prize Claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie. We look forward to welcoming the winner to Lottery HQ to collect their prize.”<\/p>\n This latest win comes hot on the heels of last Wednesday\u2019s, March 25, Lotto Plus 1 top prize of \u20ac1 million, scooped by another Westmeath player <\/a>who purchased their winning ticket at Corrib Oil Service Station on the Ballymahon Road in Athlone.<\/p>\n Players dreaming of becoming the next big winners are reminded that tonight\u2019s Lotto jackpot is set to roll towards an estimated \u20ac5 million.
