When Wayde Drain, an Independent Distributor with Herbalife Nutrition, reflects on the past four decades, one thought comes to mind\u00a0immediately: gratitude. What began as a simple decision to support his partner\u2019s health journey has grown into a lifelong passion centered on wellness,\u00a0family\u00a0and community connection.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cThis April 1 marks 40 years with Herbalife Nutrition,\u201d Drain says. \u201cLooking back, I never imagined this journey would become such a meaningful part of my life.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n
Drain\u2019s introduction to Herbalife Nutrition came through friends who experienced positive changes after\u00a0trying\u00a0the products.\u00a0At the time, his girlfriend\u00a0\u2014\u00a0 wife\u00a0\u2014 Darlene was searching for solutions to ongoing health and weight challenges.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cShe had tried many approaches that just didn\u2019t work,\u201d he says. \u201cWhen she started, everything changed. She felt better, lost weight and finally had her energy back.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n
Initially, Drain admits he was skeptical.\u00a0Farming kept him active, and he didn\u2019t feel he needed a wellness program himself.\u00a0Still, he decided to try it in support of Darlene\u2026 and quickly noticed unexpected benefits.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cI was surprised by how much better I felt too,\u201d he says. \u201cSometimes you don\u2019t realize how good you can feel until you do.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n
What started as a personal experience soon became something more. After seeing results firsthand, Drain\u2019s parents\u00a0asked\u00a0to try a program themselves. Encouraged by a mentor\u2019s encouragement to share his own experience and let others decide if they were interested, he officially began his Herbalife Nutrition journey on April 1, 1986.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cThat day changed our lives,\u201d he says.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Over time, what began\u00a0as a way to\u00a0improve health and earn supplemental income evolved into a full-time career. Drain says the opportunity allowed his family to achieve milestones they once considered out of reach, including home ownership,\u00a0travel\u00a0and new experiences.\u00a0Perhaps most\u00a0meaningfully, he shares, was the flexibility it created at home.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cFor over 30 years, I\u2019ve had the privilege of being a full-time, stay-at-home dad,\u201d he says. \u201cThat\u2019s something I never thought possible.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n
Their daughters, Chelsea and Krystal, grew up alongside the family business, and today remain involved, creating opportunities to work and travel together- a full-circle moment Drain describes as especially rewarding.\u00a0<\/p>\n
While the financial and lifestyle benefits have been significant, Drain says the greatest reward continues to\u00a0be helping\u00a0others feel better about their health.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cAfter 40 years, the best part is still hearing people say, \u2018I haven\u2019t felt this good in years,\u2019\u201d he says.\u00a0<\/p>\n
