RTE has cancelled The Late Late Show again this week, with a major film taking over its usual Friday night slot instead.\"Undated<\/p>\n

Fans of The Late Late Show<\/a> are in for a surprise this week as the long running RTE favourite has been pulled from its usual Friday night slot once again.<\/p>\n

The hit chat show, which typically airs at 9.35pm and is hosted by Patrick Kielty<\/a>, will not be on air this week as part of an Easter schedule shake up.<\/p>\n

It comes just weeks after the programme was taken off air due to Ireland’s Six Nations clash with Wales<\/a>, marking another break in recent weeks for the flagship show.<\/p>\n

RTE has now confirmed that the latest cancellation is due to the Easter holidays<\/a>, with the show expected to return to screens next Friday, April 10.<\/p>\n

Instead, viewers tuning in to RTE One<\/a> this Friday will be treated to a major film in its place, with Bob Marley: One Love taking over the primetime slot. The biographical drama tells the story of how reggae icon Bob Marley overcame adversity, charting the journey behind his revolutionary music, and stars Kingsley Ben-Adir.<\/p>\n

RTE Two will air Licorice Pizza, the coming of age romantic comedy set in 1970s California, starring Alana Haim and Cooper Hoffman.<\/p>\n

Over on Virgin Media One<\/a>, viewers can tune into Betrayal, a British espionage drama following an MI5 agent who uncovers a national security threat.<\/p>\n

TG4 <\/a>will show the classic Western Pat Garrett and Billy the Kid, starring James Coburn and Kris Kristofferson, telling the story of an outlaw turned lawman tasked with tracking down his former partner.<\/p>\n

And for anyone still in need of their chat show fix, BBC One will air The Claudia Winkleman Show<\/a>, with guests including James McAvoy, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Rita Wilson and Russell Howard.<\/p>\n
