Avengers: Secret Wars<\/a> could wind up having more Spider-Men in it than Spider-Man: Brand New Day<\/a> does.<\/p>\n

Marvel Studios<\/a> and Sony Pictures<\/a>\u2019 Spider-Man: Brand New Day, also known as Spider-Man 4<\/a>, is scheduled to arrive in United States theaters this summer. Directed by Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings and Wonder Man\u2019s Destin Daniel Cretton, the movie will once again see Tom Holland<\/a> reprise his MCU<\/a> role as Peter Parker\/Spider-Man<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Avengers: Secret Wars, meanwhile, is currently dated for December 2027. That movie serves as a sequel to Avengers: Doomsday<\/a>, which comes out this December from Marvel<\/a>.<\/p>\n

What is the new Avengers: Secret Wars rumor?<\/p>\n

According to scooper James Mack<\/a>, there will be at least three \u2014 and possibly more \u2014 versions of Spider-Man who show up in Avengers: Secret Wars. With Holland being the only Spider-Man confirmed for Brand New Day at this time, this means Secret Wars could wind up having more Spider-Men in it than Brand New Day.<\/p>\n

Of course, this is only a rumor at this time as well, meaning this news should be taken with a grain of salt. There\u2019s been no official announcement from Marvel about Holland, or any other Spider-Men, appearing in either Avengers: Doomsday or Avengers: Secret Wars.<\/p>\n

Should the rumor be true, though, Mack would presumably be talking about Tobey Maguire<\/a> and Andrew Garfield<\/a>, as there\u2019s been plenty of rumors suggesting that they\u2019ll be part of the forthcoming Avengers movies. The \u201cmaybe even more\u201d could wind up being Miles Morales<\/a>, though whether or not that actually comes to fruition remains to be seen.<\/p>\n

There is also plenty of speculation as to whether Garfield or Maguire will show up in Brand New Day, as both of them were featured in Spider-Man: No Way Home. Similar to the situation with the Avengers movies, there\u2019s been no announcement regarding their casting in Spider-Man 4.<\/p>\n

Spider-Man: Brand New Day will be released on July 31, 2026.
