BTS has unveiled a striking new music video, blending noir aesthetics with unexpected humor.<\/p>\n

On April 2 (KST), BTS released the MV for “2.0,” a track from their fifth full-length album ARIRANG, via the HYBE Labels YouTube channel.<\/p>\n

A Noir Concept Inspired by Cinema<\/p>\n

The music video draws direct inspiration from Oldboy, particularly its iconic corridor fight scene. BTS reinterprets the sequence with their own stylized twist.<\/p>\n

Dressed in sharp suits, the members step out of a worn elevator into a narrow hallway, confronting a group of men\u2014evoking classic noir tension.<\/p>\n

However, the mood quickly flips. Comedic props such as back scratchers, traditional fans, and flutes, along with playful disguises, subvert expectations and add a layer of humor.<\/p>\n

“BTS 2.0” \u2014 A New Phase<\/p>\n

The MV visually reinforces the song’s theme of transformation. In one key scene, the members change outfits inside an elevator before transitioning into a powerful group performance in an abandoned building\u2014symbolizing their evolution into “BTS 2.0.”<\/p>\n

The choreography highlights dynamic pacing and structured progression, signaling a refined performance style and a new artistic phase.<\/p>\n

BTS described the video as a showcase of their “evolved performance,” adding that the filming atmosphere was filled with laughter as members couldn’t stop reacting to each other.<\/p>\n

“2.0” is a hip-hop trap track marked by unconventional rhythms, with lyrics reflecting the group’s growth and transition into a new chapter.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, BTS will kick off their ARIRANG world tour from April 9 to 12 at Goyang Stadium, launching their next global era.<\/p>\n
