Passengers have been advised to plan ahead and allow extra time for journeys.<\/p>\n
From Saturday of Easter weekend until Easter Monday, several works will be carried out at locations between Connolly and D\u00fan Laoghaire stations in Dublin.<\/p>\n
As a result, Dart services will be suspended between Connolly Station and D\u00fan Laoghaire. Irish Rail has advised customers that Leap Cards used for rail travel are valid on TFI services in the affected area.<\/p>\n
Dart services will continue to operate between Howth\/Malahide and Connolly, and between D\u00fan Laoghaire and Greystones.<\/p>\n
Services from Connolly Station to Rosslare Europort will involve bus transfers between Connolly and Bray.<\/p>\n
Services in the west of the country will be affected by works from the evening of Good Friday until the morning of Easter Monday, including the continued construction of the new Ceannt Station in Galway city and the expansion of Oranmore Station.<\/p>\n
Dublin Heuston to Galway services will be a bus replacement for the full journey, while Heuston services to Westport will involve bus transfers between Heuston and Athlone.<\/p>\n
Limerick to Galway services will involve bus transfers between Athenry and Galway.<\/p>\n
In the Cork area, works will be carried out on Saturday and Easter Sunday. Cork commuter services to Cobh, Midleton and Mallow will involve bus replacements as a result.<\/p>\n
Rail services from Cork to Heuston Station, and Cork to Tralee, will both involve bus transfers between Cork and Mallow.<\/p>\n
From 1.30pm on Saturday, there will be bus transfers in operation between Limerick and Limerick Junction to facilitate track works.<\/p>\n
\u201cIarnr\u00f3d \u00c9ireann apologises for the inconvenience caused by these essential works,\u201d a spokesperson said.<\/p>\n
Commuters have also been advised to check Irish Rail\u2019s app or website before travelling between Good Friday and Easter Monday, with revised timetables in place across all routes.<\/p>\n
On intercity services, the advice is to book in advance, particularly at the busiest times.<\/p>\n
On Good Friday, a Saturday schedule will be in operation on Dart services, while a revised Saturday schedule will be in place on commuter services.<\/p>\n
