THOUSANDS of volunteers took to the streets of Limerick for the 11th annual Team Limerick Clean-Up (TLC) the largest of its kind in Ireland.<\/p>\n

A record-breaking 24,000 volunteers took part in Europe\u2019s largest one-day clean-up on Good Friday. TLC co-founders JP McManus, Paul O\u2019Connell and Helen O\u2019Donnell launched activities for the event at the Mick Mackey Statue, Castleconnell village.<\/p>\n

School clean-ups for TLC also took place before schools closed for their\u00a0Easter holidays.\u00a0<\/p>\n

TLC visited Anglesboro\u00a0National School, Corpus Christi Primary School,\u00a0Kilteely\u00a0National School, Salesian\u00a0Secondary\u00a0College\u00a0and St Clement\u2019s College.\u00a0<\/p>\n
