Venus\u2019s extremely thick atmosphere is 95 percent carbon dioxide, which superheats the planet\u2019s surface to a sweltering average temperature of around 464 \u00baC (867 \u00baF) and creates air pressure some 92 times higher than what exists on Earth at sea level. In other words, you don\u2019t want to be on Venus.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">But what about above it?<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">A team of scientists from MIT have been slowly piecing together an understanding of the possibility that life\u2019s building blocks could survive in Venus\u2019s atmosphere.
