Former President of Ireland Michael D Higgins is among the contributors to the Premier League side\u2019s tribute to their veteran defender.<\/p>\n

Everton have announced the release of \u2018Tribute to a Legend\u2019 – a 116-page magazine honouring their veteran defender Seamus Coleman.<\/p>\n

The magazine goes on sale from Saturday and features interviews and pictures.<\/p>\n

One of the contributors is the football-mad former President of Ireland, Michael D Higgins, while current and former teammates also feature.<\/p>\n

Coleman<\/a> has made 433 appearances for the Toffees<\/a> since his January 2009 move from League of Ireland<\/a> side Sligo Rovers<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Announcing the release of the magazine on their official website, Everton wrote: \u201cA special official Club magazine celebrating the life and legacy so far of Seamus Coleman is now available to order.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe story of an Everton and Republic of Ireland icon \u2013 famously bought for \u00a360,000 from Sligo Rovers in 2009 \u2013 is told across 116 pages, packed with exclusive interviews and imagery from both sides of the Irish Sea.<\/p>\n

\u201cColeman’s remarkable journey is told by himself and those who know him best \u2013 including David Moyes and James Tarkowski, moving tributes by Idrissa Gana Gueye and Ian Holloway, words from Seamus’ own family, former coaches in his homeland, and even a tribute by the former President of Ireland Michael D. Higgins.<\/p>\n

\u201cOne feature looks at the links between Everton and Sligo, which go all the way back to Dixie Dean, while Club captain Coleman himself talks about his career path, the managers he has worked under and his favourite moments with the Toffees.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe also looks ahead to a future which will always involve Everton.<\/p>\n

\u201cA standard-bearer for all that is still good about the game, ‘Seamus Coleman’ goes on sale from Saturday \u2013 and will be available via programme sellers at Hill Dickinson Stadium and exclusively in club stores, as part of a special \u00a310 Double Deal with the Official Matchday Programme.\u201d<\/p>\n
