ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ) – Multi-platinum performing artist Darius Rucker, of Hootie and the Blowfish, will perform solo, with Austin Williams opening, at Elmwood Park June 20, 2026, according to Broadberry Entertainment Group in partnership with Bowery.<\/p>\n

Gates are expected to be open at 6:00 p.m. with the show beginning at 7:00 p.m., according to the concert booker. <\/p>\n

Rucker broke into music as lead singer and rhythm guitarist of the Grammy Award-winning band Hootie & the Blowfish, selling more than 25 million albums worldwide with debut \u201cCracked Rear View,\u201d the entertainment company said.<\/p>\n

Rucker released his first album in the country genre in 2008 and has since released four number one albums on the Billboard Country chart. It also includes 10 number one singles on radio along with 11 Gold, Platinum, or multi-Platinum certified hits, Broadberry Entertainment says.<\/p>\n

The entertainment company also says Rucker\u2019s most recent album, Carolyn\u2019s Boy (featuring recent single \u201cNever Been Over\u201d with Jennifer Nettles) is available; his best-selling memoir, \u201cLife\u2019s Too Short,\u201d released through Dey Street in 2024, <\/p>\n

Beer and wine will be sold to concertgoers, there will also be food trucks on site. However, coolers, outside food, and outside drinks are not allowed at the show.<\/p>\n
