The last time we saw Conor and Jock, their activities had resulted in jail spells on opposite sides of the world.<\/p>\n
We\u2019re pleased to say the lovable rogues are both back in Cork at the start of the sitcom\u2019s fifth series.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s 10 years since Alex Murphy (Conor MacSweeney) and Chris Walley (Jock O\u2019Keeffe) first played the characters in the movie that spawned the TV show, and both are incredibly \u2013 and rightly \u2013 proud of the characters\u2019 ongoing success.<\/p>\n
\u201cTo be recognised for the work that I, and so many others, put into the show, fills me with a lot of pride,\u201d says MacSweeney. \u201cThere\u2019s a lot of terrible things happening in the world, and if you can turn on the TV for half an hour and laugh with your friends and family, enjoy yourself and forget about everything for a while, then that\u2019s the job done,\u201d adds Walley.<\/p>\n
Although Conor and Jock are soon up to their old tricks, there are problems on the horizon, with the former losing the love of his life and the latter having to rebuild his relationship with Star.<\/p>\n

Remember all the dramarama at the Masters last year? Well, as it turns out, a documentary was also being made, and here it is. The film focuses on Rory McIlroy\u2019s long and, one could argue, complicated relationship with Augusta National, the course that\u2019s challenged him more than any other. While fans see Augusta as golf\u2019s most iconic stage, McIlroy came to associate it with pressure, disappointment, and the weight of expectation. His struggle began with the 2011 Masters, when a commanding lead slipped away in a devastating final round. Over the next 14 years, he collected three major titles yet repeatedly fell short at the Masters, leaving the career Grand Slam out of reach. The film builds towards the final round of the 2025 tournament, using each hole to trace the emotional and competitive battle between McIlroy and the course. It\u2019s a portrait of how one venue can define an athlete\u2019s story and why the meaning of sport often goes beyond the final score.<\/p>\n
