Folks find it tough sticking to regular <a class=\"backlink\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.hindustantimes.com\/shop-now\/muscle-pain-or-stiffness-after-workouts-try-massage-guns-as-a-recovery-tool-for-relief-says-expert-101772796115874.html\" data-vars-page-type=\"story\" data-vars-link-type=\"Manual\" data-vars-anchor-text=\"workouts\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">workouts<\/a> through the week. So they shift everything to Saturday and Sunday instead.\u201d \u201cSqueezing sweat into just a couple of days has become common lately,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p class=\"content \">\u201cWhen Monday hits, and the chairs stay full again. Two long pushes each weekend. Can those really balance out five lazy ones after? The body keeps score differently, maybe,\u201d said Sumit.<\/p>\n<p>Weekend vs daily exercise<\/p>\n<p>According to Sumit, weekend movement counts more than you might think. Scientists see gains when people hit 150 weekly minutes of solid effort, even if it&#8217;s just two days. Hearts respond well, so do <a class=\"backlink\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.hindustantimes.com\/lifestyle\/recipe\/how-to-make-soft-and-healthy-ragi-roti-for-proper-fiber-intake-and-weight-and-blood-sugar-levels-management-101774253089541.html\" data-vars-page-type=\"story\" data-vars-link-type=\"Manual\" data-vars-anchor-text=\"blood sugar levels\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">blood sugar levels<\/a>. Five inactive days dull the gains from two active ones. When exercise gets squeezed into just a few minutes, people tend to go too hard &#8211; especially if they haven\u2019t moved much lately, highlighted Sumit. Pushing fast without building up slowly can pull muscles or strain joints. Tiredness shows up quicker when effort spikes out of nowhere. Bodies unprepared for sudden bursts react with soreness or discomfort most times.<\/p>\n<p class=\"content \">\u201cStill, working out on weekends might actually help, as long as it&#8217;s done with some thought,\u201d said Sumit. Ease counts more than effort. You can try running, sometimes <a class=\"backlink\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.hindustantimes.com\/lifestyle\/health\/swimming-this-summer-ophthalmologist-shares-4-eye-protection-tips-never-rub-your-eyes-101774967892671.html\" data-vars-page-type=\"story\" data-vars-link-type=\"Manual\" data-vars-anchor-text=\"swimming\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">swimming<\/a> instead; pair either with strength drills along with quick footwork. That still misses what everyday motion offers. Showing up &#8211; any way you can &#8211; is more crucial than how hard you push. Consistency wins easily when matched against sporadic bursts. Skip perfect routines; choose ones that fit smoothly into life.
