{"id":381625,"date":"2026-04-04T12:39:07","date_gmt":"2026-04-04T12:39:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/381625\/"},"modified":"2026-04-04T12:39:07","modified_gmt":"2026-04-04T12:39:07","slug":"man-in-his-30s-dies-in-hospital-following-longford-crash","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/381625\/","title":{"rendered":"Man in his 30s dies in hospital following Longford crash"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A man in his 30s has died in hospital following a crash in Co Longford last weekend.<\/p>\n<p>The man was the sole occupant of the car when it crashed on the R392 in Ballymahon, Co Longford, shortly after midnight on Sunday 29 March.<\/p>\n<p>He was taken to Midlands Regional Hospital in Tullamore for treatment, however he died in hospital yesterday.<\/p>\n<p>Garda\u00ed are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident to contact them.<\/p>\n<p>Any motorists who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and who were travelling in the area at the time are asked to make the footage available to garda\u00ed.<\/p>\n<p>Anyone with information is asked to contact Longford Garda Station on (043) 3350570, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any garda station.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"A man in his 30s has died in hospital following a crash in Co Longford last weekend.
