\n\tThe April 4 episode of \u201cSaturday Night Live<\/a>\u201d marked Jack Black<\/a>\u2018s fifth hosting stint, granting him entry into the exclusive \u201cfive-timers club.\u201d Several comedy legends made cameos during his monologue to celebrate.<\/p>\n

\n\tFirst was Jonah Hill, who told Black that there was \u201csomething wrong with the five-timer\u2019s club\u201d as they entered a lounge that has previously appeared in other five-timers\u2019 monologues \u2014 only this time, it was covered in cobwebs.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn the lounge, Black was greeted by Tina Fey, who often returns to \u201cSNL<\/a>\u201d when a new five-timer is inducted. \u201cYou\u2019re the first Black in the five-timers club,\u201d Fey said, poking fun of the show\u2019s oft-criticized lack of racial diversity.<\/a> (Dwayne \u201cThe Rock\u201d Johnson, who is of mixed-race heritage, became the first Black five-timer in 2017, but all other five-timers have been white.)<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cWhat\u2019s become of this once-glorious place?\u201d Black asked. \u201cYou know, it\u2019s seen better days,\u201d Fey responded. \u201cWhat started off as a one-off joke in a Tom Hanks monologue has been brought back so many times, it has literally been run into the ground. For example, this is my fifth five-timers club sketch.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cA double five-timer. Is that why you\u2019re wearing that special jacket?\u201d Black asked. \u201cNo, this is actually my first-timer\u2019s jacket from \u2018SNL UK,’\u201d she said. Fey was the first-ever host of the U.K. adaptation of \u201cSNL\u201d<\/a> on March 21. \u201cI think it\u2019s made out of Paddington,\u201d she continued, referencing the jacket\u2019s fur lining and turning around to reveal the fictional bear\u2019s head.<\/p>\n

\n\tCandice Bergen entered next, saying, \u201cYou know, I spent a night with Paddington back in 1700. Let\u2019s just say we found something that he likes way more than marmalade.\u201d When Black reacted with shock, she added, \u201cWhat? A bitch can party!\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThen Melissa McCarthy appeared behind the cobweb-covered bar. \u201cSpeaking of party, does anyone know where I can just get a drink? I can\u2019t find one,\u201d she said. \u201cAll they got is warm cans of John Mulaney\u2019s beer.\u201d Fey objected, as Mulaney is sober: \u201cThose are non-alcoholic, right?\u201d McCarthy stabbed a can open with a key and said, \u201cNot if fill them with vodka,\u201d then shotgunned it.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cSNL\u201d cast member Marcello Hernandez was the next to show up \u2014\u00a0in character as Domingo \u2014 and Black jabbed at the 28-year-old for entering the five-timer\u2019s lounge without earning it. \u201cHave you even been on the show five times?\u201d he asked. \u201cYes, if you count this one!\u201d Hernandez said.<\/p>\n

\n\tJack White, the musical guest for Black\u2019s episode, interrupted Hernandez by whacking him in the head with a skillet before saying he had to leave. \u201cWhy so soon?\u201d Black asked. \u201cWell, the five-time musical guests only get their parking validated for 15 minutes, so I have to move my hearse,\u201d White said.<\/p>\n

\n\tBlack resolved to fix the five-timer\u2019s club \u201cthe only way I know how: with the power of rock.\u201d He and White launched into a parody of \u201cSeven Nation Army\u201d by the White Stripes, White\u2019s rock duo with Meg White.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI\u2019m back hosting \u2018Saturday Night Live\u2019 for the fifth time \/ And if I don\u2019t crush it it would be a crime \/ Everything about the lounge is broken and wrong \/ But I\u2019m gonna fix it by singing the world\u2019s most rockin\u2019 song,\u201d Black sang, then said, \u201cNow give me a choir of marching wizards.\u201d As a group of backup dancers emerged, Black continued singing, \u201cI\u2019m gonna make it right \/ The five-timers army gonna lift the curse \/ We got Jack Black and White \/ He\u2019s shredding on his axe while I sing the next verse \/ We got Melissa, Candice Bergen, Jonah Hill and British Tina Fey \/ It\u2019s my nightmare blunt rotation and I think it\u2019s gonna save the day.\u201d<\/p>\n
