{"id":383812,"date":"2026-04-05T22:49:17","date_gmt":"2026-04-05T22:49:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/383812\/"},"modified":"2026-04-05T22:49:17","modified_gmt":"2026-04-05T22:49:17","slug":"lisa-mchugh-shares-good-news-amidst-incurable-health-battle","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/383812\/","title":{"rendered":"Lisa McHugh shares good news amidst incurable health battle"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It is certainly a happy Easter for Lisa McHugh, as she shared positive news about her health as she continues her ongoing battle with an incurable illness.<\/p>\n<p>The country singer has been open about her &#8216;incredibly scary&#8217; sickness since being diagnosed with <a href=\"https:\/\/evoke.ie\/2025\/07\/15\/entertainment\/lisa-mchugh-diagnosis\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Functional Neurological Disorder (FND)<\/a> in 2025, and now she has revealed things are looking up. <\/p>\n<p>The disorder, which affects the way the brain and nervous system work, leads to a range of neurological symptoms such as limb weakness, paralysis, seizures, walking difficulties, spasms, sensory issues, and cognitive problems.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"700\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/SnapInsta-Ai_3868084192873853866.jpg\" alt=\"Lisa McHugh with her kids. Pic: Lisa McHugh\/Instagram<\/p>\n<p>It has left the Glasgow woman in hospital when it flares up, though Lisa has revealed that she is on the mend from her last bad stint. <\/p>\n<p>Fans were thrilled to see the mum-of-two looking healthy and happy as she posed with her son, Milo, and her daughter, Hallie. <\/p>\n<p>&#8216;It\u2019s been a while,&#8217; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DWvoNDuDIYe\/?img_index=1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">she penned.<\/a> &#8216;I took a little step back from everything for a minute to focus on building myself and my energy back up again after my last sickness, and to spend some proper time on the things that matter most.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"700\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/SnapInsta-Ai_3868084192731206988.jpg\" alt=\"Lisa McHugh with her kids.
