ComingSoon is excited to debut the official Desert Warrior poster for the Anthony Mackie action movie. This comes after the release of the trailer for the historical epic<\/a>, which is set in seventh-century Arabia. The movie will be released in United States theaters on April 24, 2026.<\/p>\n \u201cSet in seventh-century Arabia, Princess Hind (Aiysha Hart) defies her fate, refusing to become a concubine to the ruthless Emperor Kisra (Sir Ben Kingsley). Fleeing into the desert with her father, she is hunted by a merciless army and forced to trust a legendary bandit (Anthony\u00a0Mackie) with secrets of his own. Rising from fugitive to fearless warrior, Hind unites warring tribes for a final stand\u2014the Battle of Dhi Qar, a clash that will change history forever,\u201d says the official synopsis.<\/p>\n Check out the exclusive first look at the Desert Warrior poster below:<\/p>\n Joining Mackie in the Desert Warrior cast are Wonder Man\u2019s Ben Kingsley<\/a>, A Discovery of Witches\u2019 Aiysha Hart<\/a>, Ghassan Massoud (All the Money in the World,\u00a0Kingdom of Heaven), and Sharlto Copley<\/a> (The Witcher, Monkey Man). Director Rupert Wyatt co-wrote the screenplay with Erica Beeney and David Self. MBC STUDIOS, Jeremy Bolt, and Rasha AIEmam produce the film.<\/p>\n Wyatt is best known for directing 2011\u2019s Rise of the Planet of the Apes, starring James Franco and Andy Serkis. Before that, he made a 2003 movie called Subterrain and a 2008 movie called The Escapist.
