A woman involved in a collision at the Station Roundabout in Letterkenny on Friday last has sadly passed away.<\/p>\n
Garda\u00ed are now appealing for witnesses following the incident.<\/p>\n
Shortly after 3pm, Garda\u00ed and emergency services were alerted to a collision involving a pedestrian and a lorry at the Station Roundabout.<\/p>\n
The woman was taken to Letterkenny University Hospital for treatment of serious injuries. <\/p>\n
Gardai say the woman passed away yesterday in hospital.<\/p>\n
A Garda spokesperson said \u201cGarda\u00ed continue to appeal to anyone who witnessed the incident to come forward. Road users who may have camera footage, including dash-cam footage and were travelling in the area between 2.15pm and 3.15pm on Friday 3rd April 2026 are asked to make this available to investigating Garda\u00ed.\u201d<\/p>\n
