The news: Microsoft launched three in-house AI models for speech transcription, voice generation, and image creation last week, per Venture Beat<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Microsoft\u2019s latest in-house AI models\u2014developed independently from OpenAI\u2014underscore its push for greater AI independence, even as the company remains one of OpenAI\u2019s largest investors and long\u2011term cloud partners.<\/p>\n
