Thalia Heffernan has opened up about her unusual first date with her Tyrone GAA star boyfriend, Conor Meyler.<\/p>\n

The model surprised her fans when she revealed<\/a> she had been dating the sports star for some time in December, sharing clips from a fun-filled trip to Dubai, where they were joined by a group of their pals. <\/p>\n

Now, Thalia has finally revealed how her and Conor first fell for each other, and even dished on their quirky first date.<\/p>\n

The couple met just eight months ago when Thalia was invited to one of Conor’s events.<\/p>\n

He was launching his business, Veyo Breathing, in August, and decided to invite Thalia along to one of his first events. The Dubliner admitted she didn’t know anything about Conor at the time, but was struck by his passion for his business.<\/p>\n

‘Yesterday was the first full circle moment in our relationship, and I guess looking back in more ways than one,’ Thalia explained on social media.<\/p>\n

‘Back in August last year, Conor and I met after he invited me to his first event with his business, Veyo. I didn’t know anything about the brand, or him, for that matter,’ she told her followers. <\/p>\n

‘I was immediately struck by how passionate they were, the attention to detail, the amount of amazing people around them. It all just made sense,’ she gushed. <\/p>\n

When you think of first dates, a sit-down dinner or chilled drinks generally comes to mind, but not for Thalia. The influencer decided to stay true to herself and opt for something a little bit more active.<\/p>\n

The couple ended up going to the gym for their first date, both meeting at Eden One in Ballsbridge, Dublin. ‘A few weeks later, our first date was actually in Eden One. Our first date was in the gym, I know,’ she laughed. <\/p>\n

‘But to be fair, nothing’s changed, and I’d have it no other way. So, here’s to you, kid,’ she said. How sweet!<\/p>\n

Thalia revealed that she is dating a Tyrone GAA star after sharing clips of the pair on holiday in December. They decided to jet off on a jam-packed trip to Dubai to spend some time together, with Thalia sharing a snippet from the getaway online.<\/p>\n

The pair also met up with a group of pals on the trip, heading for a night out together. Conor appears to be very affectionate with Thalia, kissing her on the shoulder while she lays her head on him.<\/p>\n
