The 41-year-old has a first-class honours degree in gender studies, having researched women\u2019s experiences in the Australian<\/a> porn industry.<\/p>\n Having worked in the industry herself since 2003, number one star White<\/a> has certainly had her fair share of experiences.<\/p>\n That includes Lee repeating claims on the Pillow Talk podcast back in 2023 that he \u2018put her into hospital\u2019 after a day of filming together in 2013.<\/p>\n \u201cThis was actually not on purpose,\u201d he did clarify, as they\u2019d been going at it \u2018for over an hour\u2019.<\/p>\n \u201cAfter that, I’m like, ‘See you, sweetheart. [Have a] lovely day\u2019,\u201d he explained<\/p>\n But then he was apparently shocked to hear that White had been complaining about some abdominal pain before finding out two days later that she\u2019d returned to Australia.<\/p>\n \u201cShe said her stomach was hurting, and she had to go see a doctor,\u201d Lee said.<\/p>\n \u201cApparently her appendix burst in the scene, which could have killed her,” he claimed on the podcast, before adding: \u201cI don\u2019t know but listen, I could have killed Angela White on our first scene.\u201d<\/p>\n The pair have stayed pals though it seems and went on to film more scenes together.<\/p>\n What Angela White says actually happened<\/p>\n While Lee was going about claiming she had \u2018nearly died\u2019 following filming, White eventually cleared things up.<\/p>\n Speaking out on the Only Stans podcast with host Glenny Balls, the three-time AVN Female Performer of the Year winner clarified that her appendix \u2018actually did not burst\u2019.<\/p>\n The award-winning adult star, who reportedly<\/a> has a net worth of $10 million (\u00a37.5m), added: \u201cBut it is true I had appendicitis and did have to have emergency surgery to have it removed.\u201d<\/p>\n This, of course, can lead to your appendix bursting as the condition worsens.<\/p>\n Appendicitis is the painful swelling of the appendix caused by inflammation with symptoms including pain in the middle of your tummy that can come and go, nausea, loss of appetite and constipation or diarrhoea. It can become very serious and is usually treated by an emergency surgery to remove it.<\/p>\n White clarified that it was \u2018likely a pure coincidence\u2019 that it came on to be painful during filming.<\/p>\n She joked: \u201cBut there’s more room in there, now that [my appendix] has been removed! There’s a lot more room to accommodate.\u201d<\/p>\n The star also added on social media: \u201cThey had to make an incision above my pubic bone and at my hip. The scarring was minimal and the recovery was pretty fast.
