Garda\u00ed have warned of \u201csignificant\u201d traffic disruption ahead of calls for a fuel protest by large vehicles in Dublin on Tuesday.<\/p>\n
Posts on social media outline that convoys of vehicles, including HGVs, agricultural and plant vehicles, will gather at various locations across the country.<\/p>\n
It comes as fuel costs are expected to rise to \u20ac2.30 in the coming days due to the war in Iran.<\/p>\n
It is understood that the proposed convoys, potentially slow-moving, will travel primarily along major travel routes, and some will go on to Dublin.<\/p>\n
Routes proposed online include the M1, N2, N3, N4, M7 and the N11.<\/p>\n
‘The People of Ireland Against Fuel Prices’ group said thousands of trucks, buses and cars will eventually merge into one large convoy heading into O’Connell Street at around 11am, Newstalk reported.<\/p>\n

Key merge points include Liffey Valley, The Red Cow, and the M50\/Port Tunnel split.<\/p>\n
Members of the public are advised to plan their journeys by ensuring they leave additional time for possible traffic disruptions.<\/p>\n
Garda\u00ed have warned that there will be significant additional traffic, including slow-moving vehicles, on the main arteries leading to Dublin and in the vicinity of large urban areas across the country from around 8am.<\/p>\n
