The first look at Jon Bernthal<\/a>\u2019s return as Frank Castle<\/a> in The Punisher: One Last Kill<\/a> has been unveiled.<\/p>\n

Marvel Television<\/a> just recently released<\/a> a midseason trailer for Daredevil: Born Again Season 2<\/a>. That series, which comes from showrunner Dario Scardapane, premiered on Disney+<\/a> last month, while new episodes are continuing to be released on Tuesday until the finale airs on May 5. Charlie Cox and Vincent D\u2019Onofrio both return as Daredevil\/Matt Murdock and Wilson Fisk\/Kingpin.<\/p>\n

While Bernthal was a big part of Daredevil: Born Again<\/a>\u2019s first season, he has so far been absent from Season 2. This is because Bernthal\u2019s MCU<\/a> character is getting their own television special, The Punisher: One Last Kill, that will be released in May, following the conclusion of Born Again Season 2.<\/p>\n

The new Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 midseason trailer offers a brief glimpse of Frank Castle\u2019s return, as a fully bearded Bernthal can be seen pointing his gun at someone at the very end of the footage.<\/p>\n

What else do we know about The Punisher: One Last Kill?<\/p>\n

The synopsis for Marvel<\/a>\u2019s Punisher special reads, \u201cAs Frank Castle searches for meaning beyond revenge, an unexpected force pulls him back into the fight.\u201d<\/p>\n

Further details beyond that remain under wraps at this time, though it is known that Bernthal\u2019s Punisher is also appearing in Marvel Studios<\/a> and Sony Pictures\u2019 Spider-Man: Brand New Day, also known as Spider-Man 4, which arrives in July.<\/p>\n

Reinaldo Marcus Green directs The Punisher: One Last Day. Green also co-wrote the script with Bernthal; both of them also serve as executive producers on the project alongside Kevin Feige, Louis D\u2019Esposito, Brad Winderbaum, and Sana Amanat.<\/p>\n

The Punisher: One Last Kill will be released on Disney+ on May 12, 2026.<\/p>\n
