Nicola Roberts<\/a> enjoyed a reunion with her Girls Aloud<\/a> bandmate Kimberley Walsh<\/a> as the pair celebrated the impending arrival of her first child with a Bridgerton-themed baby shower.<\/p>\n

The pair headed to The Lanesborough for a swanky afternoon tea, after Nicola revealed in December she’s expecting her first child with fianc\u00e9 Mitch Hahn.<\/p>\n

Nicola, 40, showed off her growing bump in a chic navy blue dress as Kimberley shared snaps of them together on her Instagram.<\/p>\n

The mother-to-be was also gifted with a sweet babygrow featuring an elegant floral print during the outing, with all of her guests taking turns decorating their own during the celebration.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile Kimberley showed off her chic look and the lavish spread during the outing over the\u00a0Easter<\/a>\u00a0Weekend.<\/p>\n

Laura Whitmore<\/a> was also among the stars in attendance, with the presenter showing off her own bump in a playful snap as she prepares to welcome her second child.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Last month, Nicola shared an update with fans on her pregnancy as she revealed she had entered the third trimester and sent her love to fellow mums-to-be.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Nicola posted mirror selfies where she displayed her growing baby bump as she\u00a0relaxed at home in a black sports bra and tracksuit bottoms<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

She captioned the snaps: ‘Bump-date \u2728 it’s been a little while.. We’re doing super well and safely in our third trimester now.\u00a0<\/p>\n

‘Feeling more and more excited by the day. Sending love to all the mumma’s to be. Especially the first time ones xxx.’<\/p>\n

Back in January Nicola\u00a0revealed she has been forced to pull out of her West End show ahead of a surgical operation.\u00a0<\/p>\n

She stars as the goddess Persephone in the hit West End musical Hadestown at the Lyric Theatre.<\/p>\n

But she has now said she that she will no longer be able to perform her final week of the show because she needs to undergo surgery.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Taking to her social media, she explained that the decision was ‘upsetting’ for her but it was ultimately out of her control.\u00a0<\/p>\n

In an emotive post, Nicola penned: ‘I’m so sad and disappointed to have to share this news with you all.<\/p>\n

‘Today, I have learnt that I have to undergo a small surgical procedure and have been informed by my doctor that as a result, I will be unable to complete my final week of Hadestown shows.<\/p>\n

‘Everything is okay.\u00a0I am heartbroken I won’t get to share the stage with my incredible cast who I love dearly and perform for the passionate Hadestown audiences I’ve had the privilege to get to know over these last five months.<\/p>\n

‘I have adored playing the role of Persephone, it has been a dream come true and to not be able to fulfil my final week and leave without a proper goodbye is a shock to me and upsetting.<\/p>\n

‘I’m so sorry to anyone who had organised trips and tickets booked for my last week.<\/p>\n

‘This is completely out of my control and really I have to listen to my doctors advice.’\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Daily Mail have contacted Nicola’s representatives for comment.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Nicola shared the joyful news she is pregnant on Instagram on Christmas<\/a> Day and shared a gorgeous photo of her baby bump.<\/p>\n

The hitmaker revealed she was five months pregnant and due to give birth in the spring.<\/p>\n

Nicola penned: ‘Mitch and I have had the most magical Christmas Day sharing the most precious news with our families.<\/p>\n

‘We’ve been keeping a secret. We are five months pregnant! We can’t wait to meet our little one in the spring x’<\/p>\n

Nicola and the former footballer became engaged one year ago during a romantic trip to the south of France.<\/a><\/p>\n
