Architect Massimiliano Fuksas<\/a> and interior designer Tekla Evelina Severina<\/a>, alongside designers Zandra Rhodes<\/a> and Tawanda Chiweshe<\/a>, have joined the judging panel for Dezeen Awards 2026.<\/p>\n

Dezeen Awards, in partnership with Trimble<\/a>, champions the world’s best architecture, interiors and design.<\/p>\n

So far, the programme has received entries from 75 different countries across the world, underlining its position as the world’s most popular architecture, interiors and design awards programme.<\/p>\n

There’s still time to submit your projects<\/a>. Enter by Wednesday 27 May to avoid late entry fees.<\/p>\n

\"\"Architect Massimiliano Fuksas is one of this year’s architecture judges<\/p>\n

Architect Fuksas, co-founder of architectural practice Studio Fuksas<\/a>, will join the architecture panel for Dezeen Awards 2026.<\/p>\n

The global practice, with offices spanning Rome, Paris and Shenzhen, is known for its flowing parametric designs.<\/p>\n

Recent projects include a dramatic all-white stage design for Tosca and Turandot<\/a>. Other notable projects include a\u00a0Shenzhen airport terminal<\/a>, a Rome convention centre<\/a> and the Fiera di Milano centre, which is home to the Salone del Mobile<\/a> furniture fair.<\/p>\n

\"\"Zandra Rhodes will judge this year’s design entries<\/p>\n

Bringing her expertise in design to the judging panel is Rhodes, a British fashion and textile<\/a> designer whose work is often recognised for its distinctive and colourful hand-drawn prints.<\/p>\n

Her designs and fashion collections are housed in leading museum collections around the world, including the V&A<\/a> and the Museum of Modern Art<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In 2020, the designer released a 26-piece collection for Swedish furniture retailer IKEA<\/a>, including a pink and ruffled redesign of the brand’s iconic Frakta bag<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"\"Designer Tekla Evelina Severina is the founder of Teklan Studio<\/p>\n

Stockholm-based<\/a> interior designer Severina, founder and creative director of Teklan Studio, will join this year’s interiors panel.<\/p>\n

Severina’s practice explores dimensionality, often centring on colour as the primary language of perception, emotion and spatial experience.<\/p>\n

Recent projects include a geometric textile flooring collection for Italian carpet brand Radici<\/a> and kitchen units which mix bold colours with marble and stainless steel<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"\"Tawanda Chiweshe, co-founder of Studio YY, will judge Dezeen Awards 2026<\/p>\n

Joining Rhodes on the design jury is Chiweshe, a London-based<\/a> artist and co-founder of Studio YY,\u00a0a design and research office working across creative direction, strategy and graphic design.<\/p>\n

Chiweshe is also the creative director of design practice Alaska Alaska, founded by former Dezeen Awards judge, the late Virgil Abloh<\/a>.<\/p>\n

He worked closely with Abloh on projects including IKEA’s Markerad<\/a> and Vitra’s Twentythirtyfive<\/a>.<\/p>\n
