A delighted Ballybofey man has won a stunning new home in Kinvara, Co Galway.<\/p>\n
Dean Doherty, 46, got the fright of his life when Galway GAA chairman Paul Bellew called him live on Facebook to tell him the news this evening.<\/p>\n
A gobsmacked Dean is holidaying in Spain at the moment.<\/p>\n
Dean replied \u201cAh no way, I didn\u2019t win the house, did I?\u201d<\/p>\n
Paul replied \u201cNo I\u2019m just ringing with a survey\u201d before putting Dean out of his agony and told him he had indeed won the first prize of a \u20ac360,000 two bedroom home.<\/p>\n
When Paul asked Dean if he could confirm he was over 18 years old, an emotional Dean replied \u201cI am, I\u2019m f***** 46.\u201d<\/p>\n
Dean is due to come home next week and will get the keys to his new home.<\/p>\n
Just as long as he doesn\u2019t swap the Donegal jersey for the Galway jersey in the championship!<\/p>\n
