\n\tOlivia Munn<\/a> said during a recent appearance on \u201cThe Drew Barrymore Show<\/a>\u201d that one of her former male co-stars refused to be saved by her in a scene and stopped production for \u201c45 minutes\u201d to fight off the story beat.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThere have been a few times where I\u2019ve been filming something, and my character was either like CIA, or a cop, or something, and there\u2019s been scenes where my character has been the one to save the other character,\u201d Munn said. The scene in question featured Munn and her male co-star fighting side by side in a bunker.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cIf you read the script, it was that he was guarding his side, I was guarding my side, then we switch sides and then there\u2019s a guy that was coming for him [who] was gonna shoot him in the back, so I shoot him,\u201d she recalled. \u201cAnd then we\u2019re about to shoot and, somehow, I guess he didn\u2019t read the script, and in that moment, he realized, \u2018Wait, wait, wait. Hold on. She can\u2019t save me. No, no. She can\u2019t save me.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tMunn said her co-star then halted production and became \u201ccomative with the director\u201d over the moment. She added that he had \u201cno insecurity about being obnoxious and everyone hearing this and being like, \u2018She can\u2019t save me! We\u2019re not doing this.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cFinally, after like 45 minutes of just stopping down, I said, \u2018OK, how about instead of my character saving you, it\u2019s just that we switch because it\u2019s time for us to switch and so this is my guy to get,\u2019\u201d she said. \u201cAnd he was like, \u2018OK.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThis isn\u2019t the first time Munn shared a bad on-set experience with a male co-worker. During an episode of Dax Shepherd\u2019s \u201cArmchair Expert\u201d podcast, she said a director she worked with on HBO\u2019s \u201cThe Newsroom\u201d tried to \u201cruin her chances\u201d <\/a>of getting a film role by telling the studio she was \u201creally combative\u201d while filming.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI was on the one-yard-line for the movie and my manager calls me and says, \u2018Hey, you\u2019re gonna get the role. But first, I guess there\u2019s another director who they know and he says that on \u201cThe Newsroom\u201d you were late all the time and really combative,\u2019\u201d Munn said. \u201cI lived seven minutes from there. I was never late. I was like, \u2018I know who this is.\u2019 He just was trying to bash me. And I told my reps, \u2018Please tell the directors this.\u2019 And then I still got the role.
