Reality TV star Gemma Collins has complained about the “rancid” conditions in the I’m A Celebrity\u2026 Get Me Out Of Here! South Africa camp, which she has described as “hell”.<\/p>\n

On last night’s episode, The Only Way is Essex star is seen struggling to adapt to life in the jungle, saying that she is “going to need back surgery” after enduring one night on the camp beds.<\/p>\n

Collins, 45, was a late arrival on the all-star show and her dramatic entrance last night entailed taking on a gruelling eating challenge, where she was faced with dishes such as fish eye pie and brain freeze.<\/a><\/p>\n

During Wednesday\u2019s episode, Collins complains to the Bush Telegraph and says: “What have I done in my life to deserve this? It is just rancid.<\/p>\n

“The beds, I mean\u2026 I\u2019m going to need back surgery after one night\u2019s sleep. I mean, it is just hell, basically.”<\/p>\n

She then asks Seann Walsh if he wants to “stay up and chat” as their fellow campmates settle down for the night.<\/p>\n

The 40-year-old comedian says: “I\u2019ve got to go to sleep, Gemma, because we didn\u2019t sleep last night, because we were in a storm.”<\/p>\n

Collins jokes: “If there\u2019s a storm in the night, I\u2019m topping and tailing with you. You can rub me feet.”<\/p>\n

The TV star then adds that she wants a good night\u2019s sleep so she can “crack on again tomorrow”.<\/p>\n

Collins last appeared on the show in 2014 and quit after three days as she struggled with the environment, but has called her appearance on the all-stars show her “redemption”.<\/p>\n

She also overcame her fears and rode into camp on a helicopter on Tuesday night\u2019s episode, having broken down in tears during her last attempt in 2014.<\/p>\n

Walsh is later seen praising the reality TV star, and says: “Gemma has really helped morale in camp, you can see why the nation loves her. She\u2019s absolutely fantastic.”<\/p>\n

I’m a Celebrity… South Africa airs Monday to Friday on Virgin Media One and ITV1 at 9:00pm.<\/p>\n
