The route, which connects the city centre to the National Technology Park and Annacotty, will now be operated by a fully electric fleet, promising a quieter and cleaner journey for passengers.<\/p>\n<p>A significant change coming with the new contract is the realignment of the route to serve the recently completed Bloodmill Road extension. This move is designed to improve access to key local hubs, including the Educate Together Secondary School and the Bon Secours Private Hospital.<\/p>\n<p>While the route will no longer serve a small section of the Ballysimon Road east of the Childers Road roundabout, which will instead be covered by Route 328, the NTA says the change reflects the growing needs of the city\u2019s residential and employment areas.<\/p>\n<p>From the 20th of April, the service will operate seven days a week with departures every 30 minutes.
