Met \u00c9ireann forecasters warned of very strong and gusty winds\"A<\/p>\n

Met \u00c9ireann has issued Status Yellow Wind and Rain weather warnings<\/a> for a number of counties.<\/p>\n

A Status Yellow – Wind warning for Donegal, Galway, Mayo, and Sligo will come into effect at midnight on Saturday, and remain in place until 2pm on Saturday.<\/p>\n

Met \u00c9ireann<\/a> forecasters warned there would be very strong and gusty south to southwest winds. Potential impacts include difficult travelling conditions, some fallen trees and branches and loose objects displaced.<\/p>\n

A separate Status Yellow – Wind and Rain warning for Cork and Kerry will come into effect at midday on Saturday and remain in place until 8pm on Saturday.<\/p>\n

Forecasters warned of very strong and gusty southwesterly winds, along with squally heavy showers or longer spells of rain and a chance of hail and thunder.<\/p>\n

Potential impacts in all counties over the course of the warnings include difficult travelling conditions, some fallen trees and branches and loose objects displaced.<\/p>\n
