Christy Coysh got Britain’s Got Talent<\/a> viewers talking within moments of the latest episode airing.<\/p>\n

The ITV<\/a> programme made its return on Saturday (April 11) evening, featuring another group of aspiring acts hoping to secure their spot at the Royal Variety Performance and bag \u00a3250,000.<\/p>\n

Panellists Simon Cowell<\/a>, Amanda Holden<\/a>, Alesha Dixon and KSI took their familiar positions as the opening contestant stepped onto the stage with a rather unconventional performance.<\/p>\n

Christy, hailing from Wakefield, West Yorkshire, delivered a musical number dedicated to scotch eggs, leaving the judging panel completely bewildered.<\/p>\n

Online star KSI didn’t hesitate to slam the buzzer before burying his face in his palms, while Simon watched on in shock, reports Wales Online<\/a>.<\/p>\n

At the same time, Alesha and Amanda were spotted chuckling and applauding, appearing entertained as Christy retrieved a scotch egg from his sock, which then fell apart across the stage floor.<\/p>\n

“Scotch egg, scotch egg, scotch egg, it’s a hard-boiled egg in a sausage casing”, Christy crooned as backing music kicked in behind him.<\/p>\n

Once the performance concluded, Christy extended a scotch egg towards an unimpressed KSI, who swiftly refused before declaring, “I don’t even like scotch eggs”.<\/p>\n

“I would happily put you on the Royal Variety purely based on that song, you’ve got a yes from me”, Amanda declared while Simon remarked, “I’m not going to get that song out of my head, it was terrible”, before also awarding him a yes.<\/p>\n

As Christy, who has amassed over 70k followers on Instagram and more than 460k on TikTok<\/a>, progressed to the next stage of the contest, BGT watchers flocked to social media to express their backing for him.<\/p>\n

One person admitted: “Ok. This is a catchy song. I’m howling #BGT”, while a second contributed: “Scotch Egg (laughing face).”<\/p>\n

“Get this Scotch Egg fella to the final please #BGT #BritainsGotTalent”, pleaded one viewer as another wrote: “It made me laugh! #bgt.”<\/p>\n

“Love scotch egg man #BGT if you can get everyone joining in like he did, then that’s entertaining although I can’t eat them myself I can feel the heartburn just by looking at one (Laughing face).”<\/p>\n

However, not everyone was impressed, with one person writing: “@BGT turned off after the first two ABYSMAL acts #bgt.”<\/p>\n

Another contributed: “How the hell did that guy get 3 yeses?? What’s my business with a scotch egg at a talent show??? (laughing face).”<\/p>\n
