These would not just strengthen the primary inner display but also prevent that crease from materializing. Given that Apple is a company that is under the scrutiny radar more often than its rivals, the longevity of the iPhone Fold\u2019s crease-less panel will be under the global market\u2019s watchful eyes, especially after one OPPO Find N6 owner reveals that the latter\u2019s marketing material claiming its crease-less screen has been proven false.<\/p>\n

Despite the crease being prominent under various lighting conditions, OPPO\u2019s \u2018Zero-Feel Crease\u2019 claims stand firm in one comparison<\/p>\n

Former concept creator Ben Geskin was daily driving OPPO\u2019s Find N6 for an entire month while also owning the previous-generation Find N5. In his first post, it\u2019s revealed that the Chinese manufacturer\u2019s latest offering has a visible blemish, meaning that the crease-less claims have been put to rest. On the Find N6\u2019s product page, the following description is mentioned regarding the technology used to minimize this crease.<\/p>\n

\u201cIndustry-first 3D Liquid Printing and the Clover Balance Pivot bring exceptional precision to the 2nd-Generation Titanium Flexion Hinge, creating a flatter display, a shallower crease, and smooth, confident folding built to last.\u201d<\/p>\n

While it\u2019s evident that the Find N6 will be called out for these claims, especially the \u2018T\u00dcV Rheinland\u2019 certification that promises that the screen will stay flat even after 600,000 folds and unfolds, Ben reveals that OPPO\u2019s Zero-Feel Crease claims are pretty accurate because he can barely feel the center bump when running his finger across the inner display. In short, it\u2019s not about how visible the crease is, but whether you can feel it or not.<\/p>\n

\u201cZero-Feel Crease\u201d refers to a visual effect where the crease is typically not visible from most viewing angles and under normal use conditions. It does not mean the crease is physically absent. Visibility may vary depending on individual perception, lighting, and specific content displayed.<\/p>\n
