Married At First Sight <\/a>bride Gia Fleur<\/a> has revealed a surprising aspect about the Channel 9 show<\/a> that viewers might not be aware of.<\/p>\n

It seems like a lifetime ago that the hopeful brides and grooms from the 2026 season<\/a> walked down the aisle to meet their partner.<\/p>\n

While each ceremony seems tailored to each couple, the 35-year-old<\/a> shared that she had very little involvement in the planning.<\/p>\n

She posted a message to those thinking of applying for next season.<\/p>\n

“Let me give you this little piece of advice – a little tip – you don’t get to choose your wedding dress,” she said.<\/p>\n

“I wouldn’t have chosen the wedding dress [I had]. I wanted something a bit more figure-forming.<\/p>\n

“But anyway, they wanted me to cover my tattoos.”<\/p>\n

For her wedding, Gia donned a slim, fitted dress by European designers Milla Nova.<\/p>\n

It featured a plunging neckline and thigh-high split, which exposed her garter.<\/p>\n

The look also featured a high-neck, long-sleeved bridal capelet that draped elegantly over the shoulders, a tiara, and bouquet of lilies.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately, while walking down the aisle, the dress didn\u2019t do Gia any favours as she suffered a wardrobe malfunction when a gust of wind lifted it up.<\/p>\n

Gia also claimed the couples don’t have a say in the location of the wedding.<\/p>\n

She explained that since her wedding ceremony was on the beach, she would\u2019ve preferred a more appropriate “beach-style dress.\u201d<\/p>\n

The 35-year-old also wasn’t happy when she arrived at the ceremony as she was forced to take off her high heels due to the sand.<\/p>\n

During the show, Gia was married to Scott McCristal, from Queensland, but the pair are no longer together.<\/p>\n

Now that the experiment is over, Gia will be returning to her job as a home renovator, which is a new career for the 35-year-old as she entered the show as a disability support worker.<\/p>\n

\u201cPeople don\u2019t know this about me but I\u2019ve flipped six houses,\u201d the mother-of-one told New Idea.<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m a property investor, and I\u2019m currently looking for another house to flip.\u201d<\/p>\n

She said her daughter, Willa, loves to help her renovate the properties, adding that the nine-year-old has helped her put in carpets and paint walls.<\/p>\n

While she has regretted her time on MAFS, the experience hasn\u2019t completely deterred her from being on reality TV again.<\/p>\n

Moving into the property industry has inspired her to being open to appearing on The Block.<\/a><\/p>\n

Gia said the Channel 9 renovation show would be at the \u201ctop of her list\u201d if she was set to step in front of the cameras again.<\/p>\n
