We have good news, as this entire village in Ireland<\/a> could be yours. <\/p>\n Listed at a cool \u20ac20 million, the Village at Lyons is a 20-acre estate found a 30-minute drive outside of Dublin in County Kildare.<\/p>\n Accessed via a gated tree-lined avenue, the village is currently being operated as a five-star hotel, Cliff at Lyons.<\/p>\n The property offers 32 individual rooms across several historic buildings, as well as five self-catering two-bedroom cottages. The hotel also has an indoor and outdoor spa \u2013 The Well in the Garden \u2013 and several restaurants, including Aimsir, a two-Michelin starred fine dining restaurant from chef Jordan Bailey, that closed in early 2025.<\/p>\n The Village at Lyons is being sold by Sotheby\u2019s International Realty<\/a>, with other amenities listed including a library, a home theatre, an artist studio, a yoga space and an outdoor hot tub.<\/p>\n The history of the Village at Lyons<\/p>\n The Village at Lyons, which lies on the banks of the Grand Canal connecting Dublin to the River Shannon, dates back to the late 18th century.<\/p>\n At its peak, the village included a flourmill \u2013 once run by Joseph P Shackleton, a relative of the Antarctic explorer Sir Ernest Shackleton<\/a> \u2013 a barracks, a forge and several cottages.<\/p>\n After the mill burnt down, the village began to decline, with many buildings falling into a state of disrepair.<\/p>\n
