Elephants are some of nature\u2019s most incredible gentle<\/a> giants. They are incredibly empathic creatures with big, loving hearts. They can be every bit as playful and goofy as a couple of rambunctious puppy dogs, and at the same time still understand that their immense size gives them incredible power, which requires them to be careful of those around them.<\/p>\n

For an example of this self-aware gentleness, look no further than the video below. In this incredible footage, an elephant is trying to get their canine best friend’s attention, and they do so in the most considerate, gentle way imaginable. This is one of those things that you simply have to see to believe!<\/p>\n

According to this video, the precious little dog<\/a> in this clip goes by the name of Khao, and this elephant goes by the name of ChaBa. Clearly, the latter wants to get the former\u2019s attention. But how does he do this? After all, it is clear that Khao is busy doing the classic canine thing of licking his paws while lying down in the shade.<\/p>\n

ChaBa, being the polite elephant that he is, decides to gently sniff Khao with his trunk, as though he is trying to say, \u201cHey, there buddy!\u201d Quite adorably, ChaBa actually seems a little nervous approaching Khao.<\/p>\n

Although Khao has grown up surrounded by elephants and knows that he is safe around them, according to this video, ChaBa still wants to be extra cautious around his canine friend because of their vast size difference. As such, he knows to be polite and patient when trying to get his canine best friend\u2019s attention.<\/p>\n

Viewers on social media had a lot to say about this one. Many viewers on social media felt that the friendship between ChaBa and Khao is something that a lot of humans could learn from: \u201cI will never get tired to say it, we can learn so much from animals.\u201d<\/p>\n

While other social media users stated that they were beyond happy watching this adorable interaction between Khao and ChaBa: \u201cMy heart just burst watching this adorable interaction. Elephants and dogs are so special.\u201d<\/p>\n

Overall, many people agreed that ChaBa\u2019s gentleness around Khao was totally heartwarming: \u201cThat is absolutely beautiful. I love the way ChaBa was being SO gentle, wanting to touch him.\u201d<\/p>\n
