What is it with the internet and trying to make us cry this month?!<\/p>\n

Between the emotions of an Irish Masters win<\/a> and the videos floating around about the historic Artemis II flight, it feels like every time we open our phones, there’s something that hits us in the feels. <\/p>\n

Now it’s astronaut Christina Koch’s<\/a> sweet reunion with her dog, Sadie, that has us holding back the tears, and honestly, it’s one of the cutest clips we’ve ever seen.<\/p>\n

After returning from her trip to the moon and back, Christina shared footage of the moment she returned home to her beloved pet. <\/p>\n

Christina, who was the mission specialist on the historic ten-day Artemis II voyage, returned to Earth on Friday, and it appears no one was more pleased to see her than Sadie.<\/p>\n

In the video, Sadie can be seen barking and pawing at the front door of Christina’s home in Texas when she realises who is outside. <\/p>\n

When the door opens, Sadie, tail wagging furiously, charges towards her mum and runs around Christina before bounding away to grab a toy to show her.<\/p>\n

‘I’m still pretty sure I was the happier side of this reunion,’ Christina, who is married to Robert Koch, a geospatial engineer, wrote in her post on Sunday. <\/p>\n

She added: ‘Sadie taught me everything I needed to know about being an emotional support animal.’<\/p>\n

Christina, Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover, and Jeremy Hansen splashed down in the Pacific Ocean on Friday. <\/p>\n

The four astronauts travelled further than any previous space flight, reaching a maximum of 406,771km from Earth.<\/p>\n
