Netflix<\/a> has shared the first trailer for the streaming service\u2019s upcoming Little House on the Prairie reboot. <\/p>\n\n\tThe series \u2014 based on\u00a0author Laura Ingalls Wilder\u2019s famed book series, which in turn was adapted into a popular TV series from 1974 to 1983 \u2014 revolves around the Ingalls family and their family farm in rural Minnesota at the end of the 1800s.<\/p>\n
\n\tLaura, inspired by the author herself and played by Alice Halsey, serves as the main character and narrator. \u201cOnce upon a time, Ma and Pa and Mary and Laura left the Big Woods of Wisconsin and moved to the prairie, where a new life was waiting for them,\u201d she narrates in the trailer.\u00a0<\/p>\n
