The character is described as being similar to the Zodiac Killer, who \u201ctaunts the police with phone calls threatening the murder of innocent citizens. When he follows through with the awful deeds\u2026the City and the Police are terrorized.\u201d <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tStevens is the latest new addition to the cast of Season 2, with <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\" data-id=\"1236700868\" target=\"_blank\" data-type=\"post\" href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/2026\/tv\/news\/dexter-resurrection-season-2-cast-brian-cox-new-york-ripper-1236700868\/\">Brian Cox set to star<\/a> as Don Framt, also known as the notorious serial killer the New York Ripper. It was also recently reported that <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\" data-id=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/2026\/tv\/news\/dexter-resurrection-season-2-uma-thurman-charley-1236711272\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-type=\"link\" href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/2026\/tv\/news\/dexter-resurrection-season-2-uma-thurman-charley-1236711272\/\">Uma Thurman is set to reprise her role<\/a> as Charley in the new season. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tStevens broke out with his role in the hit British series \u201cDownton Abbey,\u201d with the actor going on to star in the critically-acclaimed show \u201cLegion\u201d at FX. His other TV roles include \u201cSolar Opposites,\u201d \u201cZero Day,\u201d and the upcoming third season of AMC\u2019s \u201cThe Terror.\u201d In film, he recently starred in \u201cGodzilla x Kong: New Empire\u201d and is known for features like the live-action \u201cBeauty and the Beast,\u201d \u201cEurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga,\u201d and \u201cCuckoo.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tHe is repped by CAA, Julian Belfrage Associates, and Peikoff Mahan. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\t\u201cDexter: Resurrection\u201d was developed by original series helmer Clyde Phillips, who also serves as showrunner and executive producer on the new series. Series star Michael C. Hall executive produces in addition to starring. Scott Reynolds, Marcos Siega, Tony Hernandez, and Lilly Burns executive produce along with John Goldwyn and Sara Colleton, Veronica West, Kirsa Rein, and Tanner Bean &amp; Katrina Mathewson.
