\n\tMadonna<\/a> has firmly entered the Confessions on the Dance<\/a> Floor 2 era. The pop icon provided the latest update on the sequel to her beloved 2005 Confessions on the Dance Floor electropop album on Tuesday morning (April 14) when she dropped an intriguing instrumental snippet and delightfully on-brand, provocative image to hype the project.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe post<\/a> featured a high-gloss photo of a silver speaker positioned between the singer\u2019s legs, with her fishnet-wrapped thighs protruding from the sides and her knee-high silver boots glinting like disco balls, high heels planted firmly on the ground on either side. The boots were a glittery update to the custom-made deep purple lace-up YSL go-go boots<\/a> Madonna wore during the original Confessions era. The boot shot was accompanied by an untitled snippet of moody synth washes that ebbed and flowed like a celestial meditation soundtrack.<\/p>\n

\n\tAt press time there was no additional information about the album, which will mark Madonna\u2019s return to her original label home<\/a>, Warner Records, after nearly two decades away. She began getting fans amped up for her homecoming in November with the release of Confessions on a\u00a0Dance\u00a0Floor Twenty Years Edition<\/a>, an expanded version of the 2005 album that featured such hits as \u201cHung Up,\u201d \u201cSorry\u201d and \u201cGet Together.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe digital deluxe edition expanded the original 12-track LP \u2014\u00a0featuring collaborations with producers Mirwais, Stuart Price and Bloodshy & Avant \u2014\u00a0with eight additional b-sides, remixes and promo-only tracks.<\/p>\n

\n\tPrior to its release, Madonna teased, \u201cAlmost 2 decades later \u2014\u00a0And it feels like home with Warner Records! Back to music, Back to the Dance Floor, Back to where it all began! COADF \u2013 Pt. 2 2026.\u201d The expanded\u00a0Confessions\u00a0LP came after a year of musical reflection from Madonna, which included the July release of her long-rumored\u00a0Veronica Electronica\u00a0album<\/a> \u2014\u00a0a collection of eight rare and unreleased remixes of songs from her beloved 1998\u00a0Ray of Light\u00a0album \u2014\u00a0as well as the November revamp of her 1994\u00a0Bedtime Stories\u00a0album with the eight-track\u00a0Bedtime Stories \u2014\u00a0The Untold Chapter<\/a>\u00a0EP.<\/p>\n

\n\tMadonna was recently spotted Venice, where she was filming part of her two-episode arc<\/a> for the upcoming season of Seth Rogen\u2019s award-winning Apple TV series The Studio.<\/p>\n
