Hall<\/a>-starring Paramount+ Dexter sequel series\u00a0in a\u00a0series\u00a0regular role \u2014 and he\u2019s playing a serial killer.\u00a0Stevens will play \u201cThe Five Borough Killer,\u201d\u00a0a serial killer who, much like the Zodiac killer, taunts the police with phone calls threatening the murder of innocent citizens. When he follows through with the awful deeds \u2026 the city\u00a0and the police are terrorized, reads the character description.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tStevens joins the recently announced <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/t\/brian-cox\/\" id=\"auto-tag_brian-cox_1\" data-tag=\"brian-cox\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Brian Cox<\/a>, who will play \u201cThe New York Ripper,\u201d a serial killer who terrorized the city years ago. Uma Thurman will also reprise her role as Charley, the former special ops officer\u00a0who fled the city last season.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tThe series from showrunner and executive producer <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/t\/clyde-phillips\/\" id=\"auto-tag_clyde-phillips_1\" data-tag=\"clyde-phillips\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Clyde Phillips<\/a> stars Hall in the titular role of Dexter Morgan.\u00a0The sequel series resurrected Dexter after the events of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/t\/dexter-new-blood\/\" id=\"auto-tag_dexter-new-blood_1\" data-tag=\"dexter-new-blood\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Dexter: New Blood<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tStevens most recently starred in\u00a0Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire and indie film\u00a0Cuckoo. He next will lead and executive producer\u00a0the horror limited\u00a0anthology series,\u00a0The Terror: Devil in Silver, reunite with Adam Wingard for the film\u00a0Onslaught\u00a0and\u00a0appear in\u00a0Babies,\u00a0directed by Lauren Miller Rogan.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tFrom Paramount Television Studios and Counterpart Studios,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/t\/dexter-resurrection\/\" id=\"auto-tag_dexter-resurrection_1\" data-tag=\"dexter-resurrection\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Dexter: Resurrection<\/a>\u00a0is executive produced by Phillips, Hall, Scott Reynolds,\u00a0Marcos Siega,\u00a0Tony Hernandez and\u00a0Lilly Burns, along with John Goldwyn and Sara Colleton, Veronica West, Kirsa Rein and Tanner Bean and Katrina Mathewson.\u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Dexter: Resurrection is continuing to lay its cast out on the table.
