\n\t\u201cThe White Lotus<\/a>\u201d is headed to Cannes Film Festival<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe highly anticipated fourth season of Mike White\u2019s hit series will be set during the star-studded celebration of cinema, HBO confirmed on Wednesday as it announced that filming had officially begun on the French Riviera.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThe fourth season will follow a new group of White Lotus hotel guests and employees over the span of a week, taking place during the Cannes Film Festival,\u201d the official synopsis reads. Hotels featured include the Airelles Ch\u00e2teau de la Messardi\u00e8re as the White Lotus du Cap and the H\u00f4tel Martinez as the White Lotus Cannes. In addition to Cannes, the season will film in St. Tropez, Monaco and Paris, though the story will remain set in the C\u00f4te d\u2019Azur.<\/p>\n

\n\tBack in October, Variety broke the news<\/a> that \u201cThe White Lotus\u201d Season 4 would film in France at five-star hotels in Paris and the French Riviera. <\/p>\n

\n\tThe full cast for Season 4 consists of Helena Bonham Carter, Vincent Cassel, Steve Coogan, Caleb Jonte Edwards, Dylan Ennis, Corentin Fila, Ari Graynor, Marissa Long, Alexander Ludwig, Chris Messina, AJ Michalka, Kumail Nanjiani and Nadia Tereszkiewicz. Additional cast includes Chloe Bennet, Sandra Bernhard, Heather Graham, Max Greenfield, Frida Gustavsson, Charlie Hall, Jarrad Paul, Rosie Perez, Ben Schnetzer and Laura Smet.<\/p>\n

\n\tThis year\u2019s Cannes Film Festival takes place from May 12 to 23 and will feature new films<\/a> from Asghar Farhadi, Pedro Almod\u00f3var, Ira Sachs, Hirokazu Kore-eda and more, as well as tributes to Barbra Streisand and Peter Jackson. It is unclear if \u201cThe White Lotus\u201d will be filming during the actual festival.<\/p>\n
