{"id":401880,"date":"2026-04-16T16:31:12","date_gmt":"2026-04-16T16:31:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/401880\/"},"modified":"2026-04-16T16:31:12","modified_gmt":"2026-04-16T16:31:12","slug":"boeing-unveils-satellite-platform-targets-26-deliveries-in-2026","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/401880\/","title":{"rendered":"Boeing unveils satellite platform, targets 26 deliveries in 2026"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"yf-1fy9kyt\">April 16 (Reuters) &#8211; Boeing and its unit Millennium Space Systems are working \u200ctogether to expand production capacity and \u200claunch a new satellite platform as they look \u200bto fulfill a growing backlog of orders, the aerospace firms said on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"yf-1fy9kyt\">Boeing is targeting 26 satellite deliveries in 2026, \u200cup from \u2060just four in 2025.<\/p>\n<p class=\"yf-1fy9kyt\">The company is looking to tap increasing reliance \u2060on satellite infrastructure from defense and internet connectivity sectors.<\/p>\n<p class=\"yf-1fy9kyt\">The new mid-class satellite platform, \u200bResolute, will \u200baddress missions \u200bthat require &#8220;more capability than \u200ca traditional small satellite can provide, with greater speed and flexibility than a typical large satellite program,&#8221; Boeing said in a release.<\/p>\n<p class=\"yf-1fy9kyt\">Boeing said it will invest \u200cin integrating its products \u200bwith that of Millennium&#8217;s \u200bto boost \u200bproduction.<\/p>\n<p class=\"yf-1fy9kyt\">Space-based technologies, from satellite-enabled communications \u200cto surveillance, are increasingly \u200bshaping modern \u200bconflict.
