What the homes at Dunkettle will look like<\/p>\n

As demand for housing in Cork continues to soar, a new \u20ac250m 550-home development is launching its first, limited sales tomorrow morning on the South East side of the city.<\/p>\n

It’s a ‘soft start’ – with just 30 released tomorrow morning in an off-plan (yet to be completed) sales launch. But this is one of the most anticipated developments in Cork in some years.<\/p>\n

From the Cork-based O’Flynn Group and sold via Sherry Fitzgerald, the new homes will be only 15 minutes from the city centre, close to the Dunkettle roundabout, and prices start at \u20ac360k. You can register interest here.<\/a><\/p>\n

The homes range from 2-bed to 4-bed semi-detached houses. The prices are:<\/p>\n

2 beds – \u20ac360,0003 bed end of terrace: \u20ac435,0003 bed semi-detached: \u20ac490,0004 bed semi-detached: \u20ac535,000<\/p>\n

This is the first phase of a major development which plans to build more than 1,000 homes in the area and is expected to cost over \u20ac500m. With plans secured for the first 550 homes, the development is also aiming for a further 540 units, making the Dunkettle scheme one of the largest housing developments outside Dublin. The first 30 homes will be released in an off-plan sales launch tomorrow, while it is understood that the full project is expected to take six to seven years.<\/p>\n

The Dunkettle, Glounthane area has become a sought after area, with new amenities like the greenway\/cycleway and road and rail links.
