\n\tOlivia Rodrigo has given a taste<\/a> of her upcoming third album \u201cYou Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love,\u201d with the release of its first single \u201cDrop Dead,\u201d along with its music video.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn the clip, directed by Petra Collins, Rodrigo wanders through the Palace of Versailles, running from room to room before strapping on a pink guitar and rocking out, singing: \u201cOne night I was bored in bed and stalked you on the Internet \/ It\u2019s feminine intuition because I always had a vision of us standing like this \/ All pressed up in the bathroom line \/ You\u2019re looking like an angel on the walls of Versailles.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tRodrigo is currently gearing up for the release of her new album \u201cYou Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love,\u201d which will be released on June 12 via Geffen Records. She recorded the album with producer Dan Nigro, who worked on her first two albums, \u201cSour\u201d and \u201cGuts.\u201d Little is known about the album itself other than what she\u2019s teased over the past month or so. For instance, fans noticed changes in the background color on her website and in her \u201cOR\u201d logo, an aesthetic that also appeared on a mural in Los Angeles and on a lock found in London with the word \u201cApril\u201d inside.<\/p>\n

\n\tOther than \u201cDrop Dead,\u201d little is known about the direction and sound of \u201cYou Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love,\u201d save for some comments she made in an interview with British Vogue last month. \u201cIt was a creative challenge to write from a joyful place,\u201d she said. \u201cWhen you\u2019re experiencing that you\u2019re connected to someone, or feeling really good, you\u2019re not in your head thinking about bittersweet poems!\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tAhead of the release of her new album, Rodrigo will be pulling double duty as both host and musical guest of \u201cSaturday Night Live\u201d on May 2.
