Up front, Stefan Tobin is set to make his championship debut in the full-forward line.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Meanwhile, Tony Kelly and Adam Hogan have been announced to start for Clare in Sunday\u2019s clash with Waterford in Ennis.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/5043716_7_articleinlinemobile_2876672-6Y_0L7A9218.jpg\" alt=\"READY TO GO: Tony Kelly of Clare in action against Dublin in the league. Pic:\u00a0\u00a9INPHO\/Natasha Barton<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Banner captain Kelly and 2024 young hurler of the year Hogan missed the recent Division 1B final win over Dublin but are included, although Shane O\u2019Donnell has been listed as a substitute.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">O\u2019Donnell came off at half-time in Limerick last Sunday week and is one of three omissions from the Dublin fixture. Hogan replaces Conor Leen and Kelly and Se\u00e1n Rynne replace David Fitzgerald and O\u2019Donnell.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Ten of the 2024 All-Ireland final winning starting side are included. Missing are Leen, John Conlon, David McInerney, Fitzgerald and Aidan McCarthy. Leen, Conlon and Fitzgerald are named on the bench.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Despite picking up an injury against Dublin, man of the match Mark Rodgers has been named to start.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Elsewhere, Galway go with 10 of the side that began the final round Division 1A defeat to Limerick for tomorrow\u2019s Leinster SHC opener against Kilkenny in Salthill.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Four players are set to make their senior championship debuts \u2013 Cillian Trayers, Cian Daniels, Aaron Niland and Jason Rabbitte.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">The Cork team named on Thursday evening <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.irishexaminer.com\/sport\/gaa\/arid-41826518.html\">to face Tipperary in Thurles<\/a> on Sunday features 12 of the side that began last July\u2019s All-Ireland final.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">As expected, U20 starlet Barry Walsh is included in the team as is Se\u00e1n O\u2019Donoghue despite the hamstring injury he sustained in the <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.irishexaminer.com\/sport\/gaa\/arid-41822477.html\">Division 1A final defeat to Limerick<\/a> earlier this month.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Mark Coleman is restored to the starting 15, replacing Miche\u00e1l Mullins who is not in the squad. Also missing are Declan Dalton and Shane Kingston.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Seamus Harnedy is the other absentee from the team that commenced the Division 1A decider but the St Ita\u2019s veteran is in the 26.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Diarmuid Healy has recovered from the quad injury that threatened to rule him out of the opening games of the provincial championship.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Of the <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.irishexaminer.com\/sport\/gaa\/arid-41673179.html\">2025 All-Ireland final<\/a> team, Dalton, Healy and the retired Patrick Horgan are the changes.
