<\/p>\nCork and Tipperary have both made minor changes from the respective sides that started last year’s All-Ireland final for their 2026 Munster Hurling Championship clash at FBD Semple Stadium.<\/p>\n
All-Ireland champions Tipperary have handed a championship debut to Stefan Tobin at corner-forward, with Oisin O\u2019Donoghue coming in at wing-back as the other change in personnel from the side that started the 3-27 to 1-18 win over the Rebels last July.<\/p>\n
Young Hurler of the Year Darragh McCarthy and Sam O’Farrell are named among the replacements.<\/p>\n
In his first championship outing as Cork manager, Ben O\u2019Connor has kept faith with a dozen of the players that started the All-Ireland decider.<\/p>\n
The retired Patrick Horgan is replaced by the in-form William Buckley, Barry Walsh replaces Declan Dalton in the half-forward line, while Tommy O\u2019Connell starts at the expense of Diarmuid Healy, only recently recovered from a quad injury.<\/p>\n
Walsh and Buckley are set for the championship bows.<\/p>\n

Clare have been boosted by the inclusion of Tony Kelly, Adam Hogan and Mark Rodgers in their team to face Waterford in the opening game of the Munster SHC.<\/p>\n
Captain Kelly and 2024 Young Hurler of the Year Hogan missed the recent Division 1B final win over Dublin, but have been deemed fit to face the D\u00e9ise. So too has Rodgers, despite picking up a knock against the Dubs.<\/p>\n

It was recently confirmed the Mount Sion had rejoined the panel, with his last appearance coming off the bench in Waterford’s final Munster outing against Cork last year.<\/p>\n
Mark Fitzgerald will captain the side in place of Conor Prunty, who misses out through injury, with Calum Lyons selected at wing back. Dessie Hutchinson will lead the full-forward line that includes Sean Walsh and Michael Kiely.<\/p>\n
