Singer Raye has said she will not write her third album until she falls in love.<\/p>\n
The musician, who was interviewed as she was named in The Sunday Times Power List , said she has “worked so bloody hard to get to this point”.<\/p>\n
Raye made history in 2024 when she won six categories at the BRIT Awards \u2013 the most of any artist in one night. But she said she is not sure how long it will take her to write her next album.<\/p>\n
Speaking about her next project, she told The Sunday Times: “My third album, I think I’ve named it already.<\/p>\n
“It\u2019s going to be called And Then She Fell In Love. And I\u2019m not writing a single song \u2013 be it one year, five years, 10 years \u2013 until that chapter of my life begins.”<\/p>\n
Raye, whose real name is Rachel Keen, also reflected on shifting power dynamics in the music industry, adding: “Nowadays, you could spend a million pounds trying to push a single, but if people don\u2019t like it, they don\u2019t like it.<\/p>\n
“You can\u2019t force feed things down people\u2019s throats any more.<\/p>\n
“These are the songs I\u2019m going to be performing on stage for the rest of my life.<\/p>\n
“And I wanted to create music that I wanted to perform on stage for the rest of my life.”<\/p>\n

The Sunday Times Young Power List also features athletes, political figures, entrepreneurs and cultural stars in the UK, all under the age of 30.<\/p>\n
